Where we deliver to:
We deliver to all residential, rural, and business addresses throughout New Zealand. We do not deliver to PO Boxes.
We do not deliver outside of New Zealand.
Delivery fees:
Auckland Non Rural – $6.43 – $10.75
Auckland Rural – $11.83
Orders over $175 are delivered for FREE (excludes bulk shipments)
North Island Non Rural – $8.59 – $13.99
North Island Rural – $15.07 – $20.47
Orders over $175 are delivered for FREE (excludes bulk shipments)
South Island Non Rural – $10.75 – $16.15
South Island Rural – $17.23 – 22.63
Orders over $175 are delivered for FREE (excludes bulk shipments)
Expected Delivery Times:
Under normal circumstances the delivery times after your order is dispatched are as follows;
For Auckland, Northland (to Whangarei and Dargaville) and Waikato allow 1 – 2 days
All other North Island locations 2 – 3 days
South Island deliveries are road based, please allow 3 – 4 working days
Rural deliveries take an additional 1 – 2 working days (this may vary by location)
Rush My Order:
For all orders placed before 12 noon, we will aim to have your order dispatched same day. Please note, during peak season (October-December), we cannot guarantee next day delivery.

IMPORTANT: Public holidays, weekends, weather events, pandemics, and peak season demand may result in extended delivery times.
During peak season (September to December) please allow additional time and pay attention to our newsletters and service delivery alerts for the most up to date information.
If you are paying by internet banking your order will not be dispatched until the funds have shown in our account. Deposits made overnight or during weekends or public holidays may take longer to clear which will in turn delay the dispatching of your order.
Delivery Updates and Tracking:
You will receive an email update with a courier tracking link as soon as your order is dispatched.
We aim to dispatch all orders received prior to midday on the same or next day (off peak) or within 2 business days following your order (peak season September to December) unless otherwise stated. If you have not received a confirmation email and tracking link within this time frame please email us and quote your order number.
Authority to leave:
Deliveries will generally not be left unattended if no-one is home unless you expressly request it or the situation demands it (such as for contactless delivery during a pandemic). If you are comfortable for your goods to be left unattended please state this on your order in the comments section and advise a safe & secure place for the order to be placed.
If we do not have your authority to leave a parcel your the goods will be taken back to the courier depot and a calling card will be left. If redelivery is attempted you may be charged a second delivery fee, you will also have the option to collect your goods from the courier depot.
Candle Creations does not accept any responsibility for theft or loss once goods are delivered. We recommend that if you are at work during the day you should have your parcel delivered to your work address.
Combining orders:
If you forgot to add something to an order the best thing to do is make another order, right away, and mark it for “combined shipping”. Please put a note of your previous order number. If your previous order has already left you will need to pay an additional courier fee so please check the status of your previous order first (you can check this via the “My Account” page on the website.
Note that at peak times we may not be able to offer a combined order service.
Delivery terms and conditions:
A delivery is interpreted as an attempted delivery by our chosen courier company. We do not accept liability for delay in the event there is no-one to receive the delivery at the delivery address. You may or may not be asked for a signature on delivery.
All items purchased from Candle Creations are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. If the delivery details given by you are incorrect, we may have to charge an additional re-delivery fee.
