I purchased three different different mosaic jars at the same time, loved them all, but this one is my favourite, maybe because I am a Kiwiana fan. Beautiful with a tea light or spa light burning, but still beautiful unlit.
Mark –
“Paua Effect” would be a more accurate description though. These jars do not use actual paua shell, which would be pretty opaque. The paua effect is obtained through a mosaic of small, coloured and textured thin glass plates applied to the outside surface of the jar. That said, these jars still look pretty good straight out of the box, and even better with a tea-light burning inside
